Ms. Thourn: The tailor who loves recycling
About the host
Ms. Thoun Voleak is 28 years old, a lady who come from Kampong Kleang village. She works as a tailor at the market. She started to learn sewing clothes when she left her village with the owner of wedding dress shop in Siem Reap province. She likes to recycle things and lives without plastic bag, she usually brings her bag to the market when she has to buy something to cook.. She said it is good that we can recycle and also we can save money by using what we can recycle.

You will see skirts and dresses our host Voleak makes on demand for weddings and official occasions. She is also growing flowers and plants on the balcony in front of her room. Since she likes to recycle, you will learn to make some flower pots from used straws she collects at the market. If you are there for dinner you can see sun set from her room, such a nice view. You will eat together and have a chat with her and our team member about the daily life in Cambodia and how she likes the life of a single woman.
