About the host

Darin and Olivier started an organic farm project in Svay Chek in the Banteay Meanchy province along Road 56. It is an oasis for travelers in Cambodia, and a life long dream come true for the French-Cambodian couple. They are trying to show that sustainable living in Cambodia is possible and that they can lead by example.

The menue

  • Fried flowers with sauce

    Different kinds of flower around their house based on season, mixed with rice powder and fried

  • Ban Cheo

    The Khmer version of the Vietnamese pancake contains pork and herbs as well as dried shrimps

  • Vegetables curry

    Vegetables from the farm put into the special Khmer curry made from Cambodian spices and Coconut milk

  • Homemade dessert

    Since the nature produces fruits in different times, the selection and dessert will vary on the season – but expect something very delicious and made at home

The experience

Get a tour through the house and the organic farm, learn about the challenges and rewards of a farmer in Cambodia or relax and read a book from the large selection in the main house.
